ABC Wednesday > G is for Green
I've mentioned before that Gabriola is a mossy island and today's image reiterates the point. Go here to see the rest of the ABC Wednesday photos from around the world.
Hello from across the strait. Moss is so interesting. In your picture I can see the fruiting bodies poking their heads up. We have a rock wall next to our cabin that is covered with lots of different types of moss. I just love getting on my knees to explore it all. This week I went with geese. I just saw the first pair return. I invite you to come see. - Margy

Spectacular! The color is incredible.
Snap you've got me looking at moss everywhere I go! I am having "moss envy" however. Yours is much more colorful and fluffy than our plain ole moss.!
That moss almost looks alive. Nice photo!
Great moss photo; you even caught a few tiny lichens at the base. Lovely "G" post.
Its so nice to see such vibrant green...we have so much snow here. Thank you for sharing.
Gabriola Green. Are you sure it's not an alien.
Incredible, beautiful green! Lovely shot! Thanks for sharing!
That is such a long shaggy moss - it looks like grass!
It's a great picture, too.
On behalf of the team, thanks for taking part in ABC Wednesday this week. :)
We do live in a wet land on this PNW coast. It is snowing here this morning. Yipes!!! MB
