Captain Haddock

Little Wheels, Big Wheels

There's a cycling advocacy movement afoot on Gabriola. The goal is to achieve a safer interface between cyclists and vehicles. At the moment, there's not much infrastructure in place aside from the bike lanes on Berry Point Road so we've got a ways to go. But hey, ya gotta start somewhere right?

Valdy's Larrivee

Valdy

Valdy is a living legend legend of Canadian folk music so when he came to The Roxy last month with percussionist Jim Salmon, tickets went fast. And what a fine show it was. It's always inspiring to watch a master at work!
