13 Trees
Well, a few more than that maybe. This part of the island has been logged fairly recently, leaving a few stands of young evergreens to poke up at the sky. That's Vancouver Island in the background.
Can't tell you why, but I love trees! So it's no wonder I am drawn to this wonderful B&W of 13 Trees ( or more ) The lighting in here gives it an early morning, peaceful feel to it....it could be evening at dusk....very nice!

I love your eye Snap. You always find such wonderful subjects. Vivian is right, quiet and peaceful.

Tks for dropping in,Snapper.
BTW...that shot of the seaward point a few days ago was very enjoyable.
Greetings as always.
Really nice work. it has a rhythmic sense of scale and stillness. Sitting, facing this view, might actually make my mind quiet.
The trees could have been a inspiring shot, but with the commentary, they seem to have a lonely, solitary existence.
Come to think of it, under the circumstances, that story is as hopeful and inspiring, in a reverse way as the picture is.
To me this is so alien to my tree landscape, so dense and yours so sparse.
I'm sorry but logging made me burst into Monty Python's Lumberjack song. Apologosies.
Wow. I love this picture. It is beautiful! It evokes many thoughts.
