Still Water

Water is a precious resource everywhere but particularly on islands like Gabriola. I have quite a few images relating to that so H2O (or the lack thereof) will be the theme here at GDP for the next few days.

Funny to say that water is an issue on an island - I guess you are meaning fresh water. This looks like a storm water pipe draining out. At first I thought it looked slightly brackish, but the greenery is looking quite healthy.

This is such a simple image ...

It's freshwater and it's spill from a wetlands area. We get very little rainfall in summer and many residents are dependent on cisterns. Some of us have wells and quite a few people have both.
