This sure indicates "the lazy hazy days". I love the canvas Converse. Although, having dipped your lid to the season, you are still fairly rugged up.
Yep.
I'm guessing that "rugged up" means dressed or perhaps over-dressed. The thing is, summer here is relative. For instance, the high yesterday was 68F. And June was so cool we called it Junuary.
Down here we rug-up to protect against the cold. Yes, I guess a small island in as high a latitude as yourn would be exposed to the elements.
