Gorgeous, serene photo - sort of a classic childhood special moment. (Sorry, I don't get any "killer" vibes - grin.)

As many deer as we have where I live I still love seeing them and get as excited as a child.

Once while camping with my sister- and brother-in-law a couple of summers ago, a deer wandered into our campsite. We walked right up to it and were able to feed and pet it. Shouldn't have done it, but we did. It was just like a magnet! I just love wildlife!

That's my hand, and while he looks harmless, he HAS teeth, you know! Actually, they're the cutest little teeth, kind of like baby teeth. In reality, I've been bitten harder by a teething baby...much harder! Many of the deers here are dears!

This little fellow can attack me anytime. What a sublime image.

I'm surprised that the deer would get so close.

Sorry to cut-and-paste this, but I wanted to let you know I visited today. Being away from home while at school for 10 days has put me way behind here, and trying to catch up here has put me way behind on what is already coming due for school, and it's a vicious circle some days. :-)

I so would not get that close to him, even though he may look cute I can see an evil glint in his eye ;)
