Cindy Church has been a fixture on the Canadian music scene for a quarter of a century. Folks around here refer to her as the Canadian Emmylou Harris which is about the highest compliment one can pay. She played a reunion show at The Roxy not long ago with her old bandmate Nathan Tinkham and it was an exquisite evening of acoustic music. I had the good fortune to be in the front row with ears wide open and Leica in hand.
