Your cone is playing possum. I've been so lax with any sort of comment(or even post) due to photoshoots constantly. Hopefully it goes without saying I adore everything you do, especially the monos and know you are a cut above.

Very nice angle into the light for that B&W shadow shot, Snapper. Looks like a Douglas fir cone that weathered a rainy night and now drying out in the sunlight. Thanks for the link back to your September post about trees.

Such a minimalist image, Snapper (was going to say simple but that has connotations!). The wonderful thing is that you have been able to give voice to the natural grain of the wood.
