Bob's Hands
Bob became smitten with the pedal steel guitar way back in the 80's and never got over it. It's an intimidating instrument to be sure but he persevered. He also made three pilgrimages to Nashville to study with the masters. It's all about the twang.

I love this shot... very cool
Such a lovely set of fingers, Snapper. And I like the reflection from the chrome.
For a small island, you certainly contain a large number of musicians. How many people live on the island? I gather it is not so much a retirement area but an area where people come to to "slow down".
Thanks for the kind words Eric.
And Julie, Gabriola is known as The Island Of The Arts and there are a lot of musicians here. I've only just begun on this series, there will be many more. And yes, Gabe is a great place to "slow down". There are approximately 4500 year-round residents but the population swells to 10,000 or so during the summer. That sounds like a lot but our island is exactly the same size as Manhattan which has a few more people.
OH my, what a set of hands and yes, I can hear that TWANG all the way to Dixie!!!!!

What a can I say, but superb.
How fabulous. Almost seems like a touch of history. I love the sensitivity of his hands, you've really captured it so beautifully.
