Phyllis' Hands

She plays with the Gabriola Recorder Ensemble and she's one of the few islanders I know who wears a watch.

Number 29 in the Musician's Hands series. You may view them all here

Hands are probably one of the most interesting parts of the human body, difficult to paint and to photograph well. Since this is my first visit to your blog, I'm curious about your series and guess I'll have to do some surfing of your blog. I'm sure it'll be fun! Great job of Phyllis' hands, esp. with the musical instrument as a telling prop.

Nice one. A coincidence for me, since I plan on posting a 'hands' shot on Monday.

I'm intrigued by your comment about the watch and the fact that few people wear them; is there a reason, or is time not material there?
