When one thinks of tall grass, the prairie provinces come to mind. Or the Great Plains states in the US. But this grass is over my head and I'm over 6 feet so I think it qualifies as "tall". And it's right here on Gabriola, on the west shore of the beaver pond at The Commons.

Wow! What a great place to run around and feel like a kid again. That's exactly what I'd do.
