Oddshots Monday > Moon and Lamp

A point-and-hope handheld shot made with my screenless Nikon. There are very few streetlamps on Gabriola which is great, makes for good star viewing. This one is at the Village Market and I managed to frame Mr. Moon with the crook of the post.

More oddshots from around the world here

It looks like a spaceship coming in for a landing. I like it, but I'm glad you explained it or I wouldn't even have been able to guess.

Bizarre and fascinating. There is something to be said for the lack of a display screen, sort of one of those art events generated by chance. A visual John Cage piece, if you will.

The lamp looks like it's trying to hook the moon for itself. Maybe it wants to replace its bulb? :D

My odd shot is a Spiky skyline.

Happy Odd Shots Monday!

Point and Hope! Love it. That would be my mantra each and every time. This is lovely. A once in a lifetime captures.
