You might consider posting bigger size pictures on the blog. This is a beautiful photo but the detail is so much better when I click it on the blog to see the larger size. Doing that involves a little Blogger trick - if you don't know how to do it I'll tell you.
Interesting that the signmaker spelled "inquire" like Americans" do (not enquire) and "cheque" like Brits do (not check).
Strangetastes, I guess I'd like to hear about that blogger trick. And yes, there is an odd mix of spellings and pronunciations here in western Canada. There are many Brits living in BC and here on Gabriola too so, as a newcomer from the states, I am still learning how it goes in the language department.
When you are putting together a post (or editing it later on), click Edit HTML.Look for the all caps string BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID, then look backwards a bit. You will see the string /s320/. That means that the longest side the picture in your post can have is 320 pixels. I've found that you can change the number to 400, 640 or 800 to get bigger images in your post. There may be others but that's all I know. The photos in most of my posts are set for 640. Fool around with it.
The honor system doesn't apply to fiddling with the photo settings on Blogger! Thanks S.T. I am going to see what I can do. HTML stuff scares me but I am willing to try it. Snapper, this is such a beautifully framed shot. I agree, I would love to get a load of yours in a larger format!

This is wonderful.

Yeah, we Canadians like to blend things from different cultures, including spelling and pronunciation.
Love the pic! I love the black and white!

I've heard of the honor system at bait stores, but not a garden center. Either way, love the details here!
