I gather the locals don't like the prices but how can you have highway robbery on the waterways? By the way, does this refer to the Nanaimo - South Vancouver ferry? That's a big piece of boat and must cost a lot to operate.
Highway Robbery has to do with the fact that the ferries used to be funded by the same taxes that fund the highways, but now is privatized and has escalated out of control. Many people want the province to take over the ferries again.
