Love the nautical theme of late. The texture of the ropes against the tree is stunning. Kudos!
I did a shot of ropes on a fishing boat a couple years back. I don't know why but ropes make a great metaphor. Good capture.
Delicious. Simply delicious! And just slung like that - over a tree trunk. Such an evocative image - running away, escape da da da da dah dah ...
Now, the black electrical tape is a worry. I thought it might be to reinforce the ends - but nope ...
This reminds me a lot of summer camp, where I worked for 3 summers during high school. I can smell the horses still...
I guess I consider a photo successful if it triggers a fond memory for the viewer. Thanks Becky.
