Chrome Eyelid
1962 Volkswagen Beetle spotted in the parking lot at Suzy's. Today's post is a tip-of-the-hat to Lynette over at Portland Oregon Daily Photo who put up several nice vintage cars last month.
Thank you for the mention and the link. This is exciting. And I love your photo! By the way, I've been collecting more photos of vintage vehicles. Before you know it, there will be Sleek Week II.
I still like the look of the old bugs. My parents had one and would cart us four boys and all the camping gear in it camping. It was a tight fit but makes for some great memories.
AAAAWWWW, we had one of the first bugs in the US when I was a girl. Ours was a grey blue as best I remember. It was a convertible and I used to get in the little storage part behind the backseat when we went to the drive in movies. GUess that gave my age away in a hurry. Anyway, great shot. Lots of memories there.

Your titles to each post really add the finishing touch to some very interesting and marvellous photography. My mom has a Beetle, called Lennon!
This image catches my eye each time I return to your site. It is a very satisfying image: the colour, the chrome the femininity of the shapes.
Another prime example that less is more ...
