The action here is the group finger and it's being directed at BC Ferries for the constant rate hikes that continue to choke island economies all up and down the Salish Sea. A number of photographers were in front of the crowd (we were assembled at the ferry terminal) and sent their own versions of "the finger" photos to the powers-that-be. Never did hear their reply though.

We ARE mad. But if you look at the faces, most of us are smiling. So it was a friendly kind of finger, eh?
