At The Post
The newspapers are delivered to postal boxes on Mondays and Fridays depending on whether it's The Sounder or The Flying Shingle. This is one of those "quiet" images that will ring true for locals, especially those who have boxes at the post office and catch up on the news whilst in the queue.

Wow, you've gone completely Canadian, saying "whilst in the queue" rather than "while in the line." I don't think my genes would allow me to make such a transition.
Bob, he's always been a bit fancy with the language. Southerner's you know...
Don't worry Bob, I still say "y'all" as in "How y'all doin' eh?"
I guess it gives you a different take on the news if you only get a paper twice a week.
Our mail and local newspaper were snowed out! We haven't had mail since last Thursday... My Muskoka !
