What's very interesting about this photo is that the viewer has no sense of scale without an explanation. On it's own, it could be picture you shot from two meters away. It could have been taken from a mountaintop or airplane.
Well Bob might be right. He usually is. I just like it a lot but miss the snow you had. Hope you like my BW 's tomorrow. I debated and "Snap" won out! V
This makes me long for the ocean. We have no waterfront here in the WWV...except some creekside homes and perhaps you can consider the Columbia River area to be in the WWV...at least just one little corner. For the most part, though, we're land-locked.

It feels close in. My own beach series has got off to a bad start. Rained off as we say here. Yours has made up for it, mono master.
