Mystery SUV

This SUV sits in a glade near The Village. It never seems to move yet it seems way too nice a vehicle to be abandoned. Can anyone solve this mystery?

Can't help with the mystery. But if I had my way all SUVs would be parked and never driven. Maybe it's a public statement.

Wayne, I definitely support your sentiment re: SUVs. It never occurred to me that this might be a political statement but given the green demographic here on Gabriola, it's entirely possible.

Is it stuck or is it for sale? Quite a mystery, indeed!

Mrs. Snapper says:
It's been released back into the wild, but doesn't know how to live on its own.

Maybe they are out hiking/camping?

I'll never give up my SUV, a Jeep Grand Cherokee. The best utility use vehicle ever made. Bought it for 13 years 200,000 miles ago, and now in it's old age, it averages 23 MPG in the city. Our newer Subaru, (that is unable to pull a large utility trailer), averages 24 MPG in the city; rather a disapointing vehicle in comparison.
