Today's photograph was made right at the end of a minute of silence at last year's Remembrance Day ceremony at the Memorial Cairn outside the RCMP station. The Leica's nearly inaudible shutter was just the ticket. Here's another photo made that day.

How poignant. The umbrella concealing someone small is a nice touch. And to have a nearly silent shutter! Those Canon DSLRs sound like mousetraps when they snap. I'm hoping my newish Canon G11 will permit me to shoot more of those "critical moments" without drawing attention.
