Slip Sliding Away

Songs are such good fodder for post titles aren't they?

Been there, done that. Not as seriously stuck, but definitely slid right off the road into the shrubbery.

You sure have a lot of snow over there! We're supposed to get snow here in southern Italy between Christmas and New Year's but I doubt it'll be that thick on the ground!

Wow, I almost missed the truck there! And you're right, song titles/lyrics are great for blog titles!

It looks like you got what we got. It looks like that truck has been sitting there for a little while. MB

Makes me think of a poem, not a song - Robert Frost's Stopping By Woods On A Snowy Evening.

Who's woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village, though.
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.

And so on.

Impossible not to slide in this road, great catch and you're right, music is an inexhaustible source of ideas or inspiration.

I am soooo not with it early in the morining. Well 8 is early for me now. I missed the truck till I read the comments. It is rather camo. Oh that could be a zillion Alabama drivers for sure. We have no clue how to drive in the snow. I also agree about the song titles. Today's is perfect. I don't remember "Hot Pink Yardstick" though. Who recorded it? You???

V, wasn't "Hot Pink Yardstick" a B-side for The Sex Pistols? Just kidding...
