Been there, done that. Not as seriously stuck, but definitely slid right off the road into the shrubbery.
You sure have a lot of snow over there! We're supposed to get snow here in southern Italy between Christmas and New Year's but I doubt it'll be that thick on the ground!

Makes me think of a poem, not a song - Robert Frost's Stopping By Woods On A Snowy Evening.
Who's woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village, though.
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
And so on.
Impossible not to slide in this road, great catch and you're right, music is an inexhaustible source of ideas or inspiration.
I ofetn refer too sonlg lyrics sneakily in my text but the title here suits the slippery snow scene perfectly
I am soooo not with it early in the morining. Well 8 is early for me now. I missed the truck till I read the comments. It is rather camo. Oh that could be a zillion Alabama drivers for sure. We have no clue how to drive in the snow. I also agree about the song titles. Today's is perfect. I don't remember "Hot Pink Yardstick" though. Who recorded it? You???
