"Longhorn" refers to the style of the bass. The body has those two very deep cutaways which form the "longhorns" as in the cattle from Texas. As for the snow, I refer you to today's post. Winter wonderland indeed.

I really like the contrast in this shot. and the bass is really cool!
My harmonica black and blues man could be to the right of this image. The light really bounces off the guitar to contrast the swathe of darkness.
