Change Of Plans

This isn't the photo that I had in the queue for today. But then the weatherman changed his plans too. We were supposed to get maybe 2-4cm of snow. Well, there's at least 15cm piled up and it's still coming down. Normally, this feline would be outdoors about now but being a native Southerner, he's wisely chosen to hang out on the couch by the woodstove and just observe winter wonderland from the warmth of the living room. The photographer is doing the same.

oh, LOVE the b&w silhouette of kitty against snow...so dramatic and yet peaceful. Nice job

Wonderful silhouette, Snapper. Cats are such wise animals ... whereas a dog, silly mutt, would be all enthusiastic and wanna run out there ...

I agree - this silhouette captures something about that animal, the cat.

Well I am more in the dog column rather than the cat column but they will hold still for a damn good photo! Man, this is a good one Snap. Oh btw, I just added a new singer to my profile. Guess who??? Can you wear out an MP3?

I'm definitely a dog trapped in a feline's body. I have issues. Any image you post is fine by me and yes the true black silhouette against the crisp white I have no need to tell you is divine.

That is a brilliant picture - really something, it tells such a story! I hope you're keeping warm and aren't too snowed in.
