Ten Feet and Frozen
Every other Saturday, I take a photo of the water level in the beaver pond at The Commons. The pictures are strictly documentary and are used to graph the seasonal rise and fall of the water table on the property. Today is the first time the shot has been interesting beyond its intended purpose so here ya go.

The island got some unexpected snow today with more coming tonight along with some howling winds so locals, batten down the hatches.

Celebration
The bubbly was served recently at The Commons in celebration of a recently passed bylaw which rezones the property as "commons", a first in all of Canada!

An eagle in the sunset sky down at Berry Point. There were seven or eight of them in the air so I made quite a few photos. Liked this one best even though there's only one bird in the frame.
