Today is the annual Tour De Gabriola, a non-competitive cycling event which raises money for our medical clinic. I'll be riding the 27km circuit on my '74 Motobecane fixed gear road bike so look for a snap or two later in the week.

I suspect that one of the things that attracts you to Gabriola is the slow life. Makes me think of the Italian slow cooking movement, the scourge of fast food. It would be hard for me. I'm an action addict, always looking for stimulation.
