The 8th annual Poetry Gabriola Festival was a huge success last weekend. Sold-out performances and well-attended workshops offered something for just about everyone. I was staff photographer and honestly, I felt privileged to be in the room. You can watch my slideshow of the whole event here.

One of Canada's premier spoken word events is taking place this weekend. Poetry Gabriola's annual festival presents the country's best and brightest like Barbara Adler's band Fang who delivered high-energy song-poems last night to a sold-out house at Dragon's Lodge.
