In high school and college, I shot in B&W because it was easy to process at the school labs myself. But I took different pictures within that framework, and now I like including the color in how I approach a subject.USelainehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15551995221350532168noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8044207950347623422.post-23200772915572694812008-08-28T01:03:00.000-07:002008-08-28T01:03:00.000-07:00Take the colour out of this and out of yesterday's...Take the colour out of this and out of yesterday's image and I think they are both diminished. Actually, yesterday's would be bland without the colour. Sorry, Snapper, that is not meant to come out sounding like a criticism.

IMHO, the only image thus far that just might work in monotone is the first one of the leaf on the bench. Four down; three to go.

What is he going to come up with next?Juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03334765584939911058noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8044207950347623422.post-54112633293295047512008-08-27T18:44:00.000-07:002008-08-27T18:44:00.000-07:00See this is what I mean about photography being su...See this is what I mean about photography being subjective. Technically this is a superb image, yet I am drawn to yesterdays, purley by the colour. My head tells me this is the one. My heart tells me the blue toned one. It is a fantastic shot. The low angle, the intense shadow, the busrt of rich colouring it's all there in spades.Show me both images in b&w, this one is the winner. Add blue to one and orange to another and I take the blue.Even photographers are fallable to a heart shot.Jane Hards Photographyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17162628972166464736noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8044207950347623422.post-79769971017227254812008-08-27T13:56:00.000-07:002008-08-27T13:56:00.000-07:00From yesterday's chill to today's warmth - all wit...From yesterday's chill to today's warmth - all with the use of colour.
